For those who are short of time this tour gives an excellent introduction to the many wonders of Egypt. From the stunning Pyramids at Giza and the awe-inspiring temples of Luxor and Karnak to the sprawling bazaars and fascinating museums of Cairo this tour gives you the chance to experience Egypt at its best.

Itinerary
Day 1: Arrive in Cairo
Meet and greet at the airport and transfer to your hotel. The rest of the day is free for you to settle into the hotel and relax after your journey.
Day 2: Cairo - Pyramids & Museum tour. Sleeper train to Luxor.
Enjoy a full day tour of the famous pyramids and Sphinx at Giza before visiting the Egyptian Museum in Cairo to see the famous Tutankhamun exhibit. In the evening we board the overnight sleeper train to Luxor.
Day 3: Luxor - West Bank sites
We cross the Nile today to visit the sights on the west bank including the Valley of the Kings, Queen Hatchepsut Temple and the imposing Colossi of Memnon.
Day 4: Luxor - East Bank tour
Our tour today includes the temples of Karnak and Luxor where we learn more about ancient Egyptian history and marvel at their towering columns and statues.
Day 5: Luxor - free day
Your day today is free to relax or explore Luxor further, possibly taking a felucca sailboat trip on the Nile, visiting the Mummification Museum, or shopping in the bazaar. There is also an option to take an early morning hot air balloon flight over the Nile. In the evening we board the overnight sleeper train back to Cairo.
Day 6: Cairo - City Tour
We arrive back in Cairo in the morning and enjoy a tour of the city visiting the Citadel, Mosques, Coptic Cairo and the famous Khan-el-Khalili bazaar. Your evening is free to enjoy a farewell meal, take a dinner cruise on the Nile, or head back to the pyramids for a spectacular sound & light show.
Day 7: Cairo
Your last day is free for you to catch up on some last minute shopping before we transfer you to the airport for your flight home. We can also arrange an optional tour to the nearby city of Alexandria today if you wish.
