SINAI SAFARI TOUR
Overview

This short tour combines a tour to the pyramids, sphinx and Egyptian Museum in Cairo with the time to enjoy the tranquil beach setting of Dahab. While in Dahab we include some snorkeling in the warm blue waters of the Red Sea, a sunset camel ride with local Bedouins and a full day’s jeep safari to the nearby Colored Canyon, White Canyon and Ain Khudra Oasis. There is also time to try some scuba diving, climb Mt. Sinai and visit St. Catherine’s monastery if you wish.

Itinerary
Day 1: Arrive in Cairo
We greet you at Cairo airport and transfer you to your hotel. The rest of the day is free for you to settle into the hotel and relax after your journey.
Day 2: Transfer to Dahab
We leave Cairo early this morning for the drive across the Suez Canal and through the Sinai Peninsula to Dahab. The rest of the day is free to relax by the hotel pool or beach or head into the main bay area to enjoy the unique feel of this friendly village.
Day 3: Dahab - Snorkeling & camel ride.
We include a couple of fun activities today, including a snorkeling trip to the Blue Hole and a sunset camel ride.
Day 4: Dahab - Jeep safari
Today, we travel by jeep into the desert to visit the Colored Canyon, White Canyon, and Ain Khudra Oasis. A Bedouin lunch is included. Tonight you have the option to climb Mt. Sinai to see the sun rise from the summit, before descending to visit St. Katherine’s monastery, site of the Burning Bush, at the foot of the mountain.
Day 5: Dahab
Your last day in Dahab is free for you to relax or do some more activities.
Day 6: Drive to Cairo - Free time
We depart Dahab this morning and arrive back in Cairo early in the afternoon where the rest of the day is free for you to do some shopping or sightseeing. Options to enjoy a dinner cruise on the Nile, or see the spectacular sound and light show at the pyramids are available locally.
Day 7: Cairo - Pyramids, Sphinx & Egyptian Museum tour
You can’t visit Cairo and not see the pyramids, so today we do a full day guided tour of the pyramids and Sphinx at Giza before visiting the Egyptian Museum in Cairo to see the famous Tutankhamun exhibit.
Day 8: Cairo. Tour ends. Transfer to airport
Your time is free in Cairo today until we transfer you to the airport for your flight home. Extra nights in Cairo are available if you would like to extend the tour.
