Overview
This deluxe 5-star tour gives you a comprehensive introduction to the main highlights Egypt has to offer while staying in some of Egypt’s best hotels. We see the Pyramids, Sphinx and famous Egyptian Museum in Cairo, enjoy a luxury Nile Cruise between Luxor and Aswan, and finish the tour with time to relax and enjoy the Red Sea at a beach resort in Hurghada.

Itinerary
Day 1:Arrive in Cairo
We meet you at Cairo airport and transfer you to a 5-star hotel. The rest of the day is free for you to settle in and relax.
Day 2: Cairo - Pyramids, Sphinx & Museum tour
We enjoy a full day tour today to the majestic Pyramids and Sphinx at Giza, and also to the famous Egyptian Museum. In the evening we transfer to the station for the overnight sleeper train journey to Asawan.
Day 3: Aswan. Aswan visits
The Nile is at its most picturesque in Aswan, we take a boat trip this to the beautiful island temple of Philae and the huge Aswan Dam. Free evening.
Day 4: Aswan. Free time, and island felucca trip. Abu Simbel option
After breakfast, we board our luxury Nile cruise boat. We have this morning free to explore the town, its markets, and to walk along the Corniche or visit the Nubian Museum. Our cabins are available at lunchtime and the afternoon before we take a felucca sailboat trip around Kitchener and Elephantine islands. You also have the option this morning to visit the spectacular temples to Ramses II at Abu Simbel.
Day 5: Sail to Komombo . Komombo and Edfu temples
Sail up the Nile to Komombo, We visit Komombo temple, continue sailing to Edfu, and visit Edfu temple.
Day 6: Sail to Luxor - Karnak and Luxor temples
Sail up-river and cross through the lock on the Nile at Esna before continuing to Luxor
To visit the huge temple complex at Karnak. In the evening we visit Luxor temple in the centre of town.
Day 7: Luxor - Board cruise boat. West bank tour.
This morning we tour the West Bank of the Nile and explore the Pharaonic tombs in the Valley of the Kings, Queen Hatchepsut and Medinat Habu temples, and the Colossi of Memnon., you also have the option of a spectacular hot air balloon flight to see the sun rise over the West Bank of the Nile.
Our evening is free for some more exploring around Luxor
Day 8: Luxor - Drive to Hurghada
After breakfast we drive through the hills and down to the Red Sea coast at Hurghada where we check into a luxury beach resort for a few days well earned relaxation.
Day 9: Red Sea Resort
Your time is free in Hurghada for the next few days to do as much or as little as you like. Optional activities available include snorkeling and scuba-diving boat trips, sport fishing, glass bottomed boats and semi-submarines to view the abundant marine life, as well as desert quad bikes or camel trips.
Day 10: Red Sea Resort

Day 12: Red Sea Resort
Free time.
Day 13: Fly to Cairo. City tour
We catch an early morning flight to Cairo today enjoying a tour of the city which includes the Citadel, some important and beautiful mosques, Coptic Cairo, and time to explore and shop in the busy Khan-el-Khalili bazaar. This evening you could take a dinner cruise on the Nile, re-visit the pyramids for a spectacular sound and light show, or enjoy a farewell dinner with other people in your group.
Day 14: Cairo - free time
Your time is free today until we transfer you to the airport for your flight home.
